Improv Level 2: Take Your Improv Further

Ready to keep developing your improv skills? Improv Level 2 is a 5-week series for improvisers who have taken class before and want to continue building on their foundation.

We’ll dive deeper into storytelling, character work and more advanced games, with a focus on taking bigger creative swings, and being a great scene partner. Along the way, we’ll stretch our limitations and discover new possibilities in our work, all while having a ton of fun!

What You’ll Experience

Across five weeks, you’ll work on:

  • Advanced rules and structures of improv

  • Developing stronger, more specific characters

  • Building compelling stories, scenes and environment work

  • Deepening your connection with scene partners and teammates

Expect a mix of exercises, games and scene work designed to challenge you, support your growth and give you plenty of opportunities to play.

This Workshop Is For You If

  • You’ve completed an improv fundamentals course with Laugh Out LIVE! or have equivalent experience

  • You’re ready to challenge yourself creatively and take bigger swings on stage

  • You're excited to support your fellow participants in their growth 

  • You want to become more connected, confident and present in your scenes

  • You love improv and want to keep playing

This workshop welcomes adults (18+) of all backgrounds, identities, and personalities.

Dates: Wednesdays - November 11 to December 9 (5 weeks)

Time: 5:45pm - 7:45pm 

Location: The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

Investment: $297.00 (tax included)

Age: 18+

Experience level: Previous improv experience required

Attendees must be able to attend a minimum of 3 sessions to register

Improv is a practice. There’s always another layer to explore, another choice to make, another character to discover and another way to connect with the people you’re sharing the stage with.

Improv Level 2 gives you the space to keep experimenting, take creative risks and discover what’s possible when you push yourself a little further.
