Created by Whistler’s acclaimed comedy central, Laugh Out LIVE!, and hosted at the elegant L’Apres Lounge in the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa, this is no ordinary night out. It’s a wildly entertaining, one-of-a-kind interactive dinner theatre and comedy experience where the drama is delicious, the laughs are nonstop, and you’re not just watching a wedding unfold…you’re one of the guests!

A night to remember
The event is a brain child of ‘Laugh Out LIVE!’, Whistler’s resident [comedy] company. And they shine. … The improvised element is incredible, with members of the audience brought into the action...the performers made us feel like we were, indeed, at a wedding.
As the actors arrived at our table to introduce themselves, we were asked how we knew the bride and groom, it was fun to “make-up” stories, whether we knew the bride or the groom and how!... Our food orders had been arranged prior to the event, and all of it was delicious. Super fun!
The food was AMAZING - the short rib melted in my mouth. The service was great too. You could easily spend the same amount of money on just a dinner - why not have a blast while doing so? I just can’t get over how much fun it was! I’ve always had a great time at Laugh Out LIVE! events!
Before you book
Tickets must be purchased before 12 pm on the day of the show. This allows the kitchen to prepare the correct number of meals.
Is A Whistler Wedding a real wedding?
We wish! It is a fictional wedding presented as an interactive dinner theatre experience. Your ticket makes you a guest at the reception, where the characters and their story provide the entertainment.
Do I have to join in?
No. Audience participation is optional, so you can decide how much you want to get involved.
Who is this show for?
It is a good fit for visitors and locals looking for a sociable evening of dinner and theatre. Consider it for a date night or an outing with friends, subject to the minimum age shown above.
How long does the evening last?
Allow three hours for the complete dinner and show experience, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm.
Are dinner and drinks included?
A three-course dinner with dessert is included. Drinks are available to buy separately.
Will we have a private table?
Not necessarily. Seating is at shared reception tables with other guests. Like a real wedding!
What should I wear?
Resort casual is welcome, but dressing up is always welcome! That said, please leave white and bridal-style dresses to the bride.
What is the minimum age?
15+, with adult accompaniment. Contains mature themes, including romantic innuendo.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 6:45 pm.
